UN Committee concludes examination of Nicaragua with recommendations to government
The International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), FIAN and the Interamerican Platform for Human Rights, Democracy and Development (PIDHDD) welcomed the Concluding Observations of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) on Nicaragua, issued on 24 November after the Committee had examined Nicaragua in their session from 3-21 November 2008.
