Right to Food of Women in Mexico
Statement on to UN CEDAW on women's right to food in Mexico
On 9 July, in an oral statement to the UN Committee on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), 171 rural, peasant and indigenous women from the States of Guerrero and Morales ask the Mexican Government to take measures to guarantee women’s right to food in the country. The declaration’s elaboration was supported by FIAN Mexico.
