FIAN International Launches New Website

21 January 2013, Heidelberg - FIAN International has launched its new website and visual identity today in an effort to make the organization more visible and accessible to a wider audience.

The new and improved site was designed to ensure easier accessibility to FIAN’s wealth of resources on the right to food and related case and advocacy work. FIAN’s site is now accessible in English, Spanish and French in order to better communicate with our partners and supporters worldwide.

One of the main features of the new website is a more sophisticated search function, which will allow visitors to easily filter and navigate through the vast collection of news, publications, and information.

“FIAN is extremely excited about our new, more user friendly website. In today’s fast paced news and information cycle, it’s extremely important for people to have the information they are looking for right at their fingertips. We believe this new site will be an important resource in the struggle for the right to adequate food,” said FIAN communications coordinator, Wilma Strothenke.

The new website is accessible via the same web address: www.fian.org, however, many of the direct links to news stories and publications will be different.

FIAN is working hard to transfer all news and publications to the new site, though currently all material may not be available. FIAN asks users to contact the FIAN International Secretariat for assistance in obtaining any documents that may not yet be loaded.
