Fact Finding Mission on Agrofuels to Colombia
From July 3-10, 2009, representatives from civil society organizations and legislative bodies from Austria, Germany, Belgium, Brasil, France, Spain, USA, Italy, Great Britain, Indonesia, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay realized an International Verification Mission on Agrofuels in Colombia. Delegates from FIAN International and FIAN Brazil participated in the Mission.
One of the objectives of this mission was the evaluation of the territorial, social and environmental conflicts that intensified parallely to the expansion of monocultural agrofuel production.
