During his visit to Bolivia, the Pope also took the opportunity to meet Eliseu Lopes, one spokespeople of the Guarani-Kaiowá, in Brazil, and longstanding partner of FIAN International.   Read more… Successful land installation in Hacienda Matias, Philippines After four weeks camping out in precarious conditions in front of the Department of Agrarian Reform, the government resumed the installation of the remaining farmer beneficiaries in Hacienda Matias. While FIAN International and FIAN Philippines highly acclaim the recent actions taken by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), we recall the   urgent need for the full and effective implementation of agrarian reform to bring about social justice in the country.   Read more…  Exploring the concept of ‘tenure’ in South African civil society Cape Town gathered delegates representing social movements to raise awareness of the CFS Guidelines on Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests, as a tool of change.
