Tackling the root causes of malnutrition, the needed step to secure the right to adequate food for all On September 24, 2014, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) submitted a Consensus Statement to the Open-Ended Working Group for the   International Conference on Nutrition 2 (ICN2), which stressed the need for civil society to be recognized as a group in their own right -distinct from the private sector-.
