The Right to Food and the Struggle Against Hunger in Nicaragua: One Year of the Zero Hunger Program
This report assesses the advances, limitations and problems with the program now known as the "Zero Hunger" Program which was launched in Nicaragua in 2007 under Daniel Ortega's Government of Reconciliation and National Unity as part of a measure to eliminate poverty and hunger. The report examines how the Zero Hunger Program has contributed to the State's obligations related to the ICESCR.
