A sampling of FIAN’s challenges, successes, and its areas of focus in 2008.

After an initial overview of FIAN’s work, the Report mirrors the main activities for the promotion of the right to food at the international level that are related to the following programmatic target areas: access to land, water, extraterritorial obligations, justiciability, monitoring, and gender. It then delves into the highlights of the Face It Act Now Campaign, and goes on to reflect brief impressions of the work at the national level carried out by FIAN Sections and Co-ordinations worldwide. It wraps up with a financial picture and a list of FIAN publications that were produced throughout the year.
