Land policies matter!

The      Hands on the Land for Food Sovereignty campaign has launched a poll to learn about European citizens' opinion on land policy in development cooperation.

Around 800 million people face hunger in their everyday lives. The root cause of such predicament, the United Nations stresses, is the lack of access to land.

The second UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) aims to eradicate hunger by ensuring ‘secure and equal access to land’, amongst other actions. As this leaves a lot of room for interpretation, we want to hear from you and get to know your opinion: What would you like to see from EU governments when it comes to land policies?

Take part in the EU Poll below!

Hands on the Land for Food Sovereignty  is a collective campaign by 16 partners. It includes peasants and social movements, development and environmental NGO, human rights organisations and research activists.
